The Power of Visual Storytelling in Shaping Narratives

Photography, for me, isn't just about capturing moments; it's a magical tool for storytelling. From running around as a child photographer to exploring the narratives behind the scenes as a model, I've always been fascinated by the power behind the lens.

This fascination grew as I transitioned from being in front of the camera as a model to exploring the art behind it. My academic journey deepened my understanding and passion for visual storytelling, from intimate self-portraits to capturing the essence of life in a dive bar.

These experiences, enriched by internships at Turner Broadcasting and as a staff photographer at Hallmark Cards, shaped my vision and taught me the subtleties of art direction. They emphasized the importance of seeing the extraordinary in the ordinary, a skill that has been pivotal in my career. My journey through the creative and art direction in the lifestyle, wellness, and outdoor industry has been marked by incredible clients and roles that allowed me to weave storytelling into every project.
